Mike Chappell – Director of Human Resources for Jordan Driving School

Bio: Mike Chappell is the Director of Human Resources for Jordan Driving School. He has worked in driver education for 45 years. He is a 1980 graduate of East Carolina University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, Magna cum Laude, in Traffic Safety Education and Biology.  Additionally, he earned a Master of Arts in Education degree from East Carolina University in 1986 in Traffic Safety Education and School Administration.  He is a veteran Driver Education teacher and a retired school Principal and Human Resources Senior Director for the Wake County Public School System.

Thomas Hunter – Director of Instructor Operations / BTW Training & Evaluations for Jordan Driving School

Bio: Thomas Hunter is the Director of Instructor Operations / BTW Training & Evaluations for Jordan Driving School. Mr. Hunter has worked in driver education for 23 years. Mr. Hunter works in Public Relations, New Instructor Trainer, Lead Teacher School Coordinator, Classroom Instructor and Behind-the-Wheel Instructor/Coordinator. Prior to driver education Mr. Hunter is a Wake County Public School System Retirement 2020 and Nortel Network Telecommunication Manager Retirement 2003 and US Army Veteran.

Mary Brooks– Office/Data Manager for Jordan Driving School

Bio: Mary Brooks has worked in the Jordan Driving School Admin Office for 20 years. She oversees the day to day office operations and manages the records for JDS. She is a Garner native who graduated from Garner Senior High School in 2004. She has her Associates of Arts degree and has worked on continuing her education through ECU in Business Administration.

Randy Graham– Fleet Manager

Bio: Randy Graham has worked in Feet Management and driver education for more than 25 years. He attended Mount San Antonia, Junior College, Walnut, CA, California State Polytechnic Institute, Pomona, Ca, Professional Enhancement Courses, Dale Carnegie Leadership Courses, Tom Hopkins International Sales Training Courses, SAE (Diagnostic Training Courses), Related Professional Experience, American Motors/Jeep Corporation: Warranty Representative, Service Representative, Owner Relations Supervisor, Pontiac Division of General Motors Corp: Fleet Manager

Alisha Workman– JDS Office & Owner Support/Assistant to Personnel Director

Bio: Alisha Workman came to JDS in 2024 as an instructor and has since moved into an administrative role, where she helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With a BA in Business and over five years of experience in project management and process improvement, she brings both structure and efficiency to the team. As a parent of two teens currently navigating this process, she’s especially passionate about making the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible while helping young drivers build confidence and stay safe on the road.

Reggie Flythe – Classroom Evaluator

Bio: Reggie Flythe has worked in driver education for 30 years. He is our classroom evaluator for Jordan Driving School. Mr. Flythe has a BE and MaED from East Carolina University. Mr. Flythe’s Driver Education Professional Experience is extensive: Jordan Driving School (1996 – 2008) – Taught driver education classroom and behind the wheel, Southeast Raleigh High School (1997 – 2008) – Driver Education Lead Teacher, Wake County Public School System Central Office (2008 – 2012) – Driver Education Coordinating Teacher, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (2013 – 2015) – Driver Education Consultant, Jordan Driving School (2016 – 2022) – Personnel Director, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction – (2018 – 2023) Master Teacher for New Teacher and Mentor Teacher Training, (2016 – Present) – Serve as subject matter expert for ADTSEA, ANSTSE in conducting state driver education peer reviews and other projects, Driver Education Professional Leadership, President of the North Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (2011 – 12), Secretary/Treasurer of the Driver Education and Training Administrators (2013 – 15), President of the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (2016 – 17) and Served on the Board of Directors for NCDTSEA, DETA and ADTSEA
