Jordan Driving School is the exclusive contract provider of publicly-funded driver education for the Wake County School System.
In 1991, Lorraine Jordan, a public school driver education teacher who wanted to maintain the integrity and professionalism of driver education instruction, founded Jordan Driving School, Inc. This commitment to quality has enabled Jordan Driving School to become one of the largest and most successful driving schools in North Carolina.
Jordan Driving School, Inc. provides a quality program of driver and traffic safety education for all eligible public, private, charter, and licensed home schooled students between the ages of 14 ½ and 18. The school’s main emphasis is placed on public and private school students but is fully certified for all aspects of commercial driver license instruction.

Sandra Dunbar is the 2023 National Road Safety Foundation, Teacher of Excellence Award recipient! This is the one of the highest Traffic Safety Educators Awards given in the United States. Mrs. Dunbar was awarded by the Southeast ADTSEA region at the Conference held in Myrtle Beach in February 2023.
