This is the one of the highest Traffic Safety Educators Awards given in the United States. Mrs. Dunbar was awarded by the Southeast ADTSEA region at the Conference held in Myrtle Beach in February 2023. She was recognized at the North Carolina State Board of Education meeting on June 1, 2023.Jack Coombe received the 2023 North Carolina Driver Education Teacher of the Year Infield Award.
