Bio: Hello, my name is Cathy Stone, and I am a native of Raleigh, NC. I attended WCPSS schools and graduated form East Carolina University with a B.S. degree in both Healthful Living and K-12 Driver and Traffic Safety Education. After teaching 8 years in both Healthful Living and then K-8 Physical Education in Madison County Schools, I returned to Raleigh to help care for my parents. I taught Healthful Living at Durant Road Middle School for the next 26 years. I retired July 1, 2022, after teaching 34 years in public schools. I returned to work with Jordan Driving School in October of 2022. I began working with the Enloe community in late December 2022. I have appreciated being welcomed and supported by all associated with the school and the Driver Education Program at Enloe. I also teach Driver Education classroom at Green Hope and Green Level High Schools and substitute. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, two dogs, and one cat. My favorite vacation retreats are the mountains and the beach, and music is my hobby.
